Married to Camila Barreira, father of Julie and Maria Luisa. Member of relevant bands in the phonographic market such as Nocaute (Latin Grammy Nominee 2003) and Eletrosamba, with compositions recorded by Maria Rita, Arthur Maia, Gilberto Gil among others. In 2002, he had a profound experience with Christian spirituality and started musical materialization of this epiphany. In addition to working as a Religious Consultant on the soap opera "Vai Na Fé" by Rosane Svartman on TV Globo, he is launching his newest musical project entitled Neosamba.

The project entered a new phase in 2024 with the resumption of its brand, coverage of the Latin Grammy in Miami, in addition to the continuation of the partnership with Rio2C and new initiatives.
