Alexander Luchaninov ingressou na RT em agosto de 2005. Trabalhou como jornalista de radiodifusão, correspondente e documentarista na RT International em inglês. Desde 2009, Alexander é um dos principais gerentes da RT en Español, trabalhando como Diretor de Programação e Vice-Chefe. Sua principal responsabilidade é a Estratégia de Programação do canal de notícias internacionais de língua espanhola mais visto do mundo.
