From Bahia, Dimas is a screenwriter and researcher with a degree in Journalism from Facom/UFBA. After experiences in Ireland, Spain, and China, he joined Globo in 2014, working in executive and creative roles. He has evaluated fiction and non-fiction projects for TV, mapped trends, and created Black Consciousness Month campaigns. A co-creator of the Festival Negritudes Globo, he remains active in curatorship and final scripts. In 2024, he wrote the script for the Sim à Igualdade Racial Award, researched for Os Outros (2S/3S) and Mata-Mata (unreleased), and recently developed a new Globo reality show as screenwriter.
